Between airplay, record online streams and sales, ‘Despacito‘ is far and away the 2017 ‘Song Of The Summer’. But we here at the Ibang, want to present a viable alternative designed to stimulate your ears AND eyes. Sunfreakz is the brainchild of Tim Janssens, a Belgium-based film composer, producer and cinematographer who has worked with Ne-Yo, Flo Rida and Nelly Furtado, among others. Whitney Tai is a New York-based singer-songwriter who has released a number of independent singles and albums. Together they have collaborated on ‘Shockwave‘ and have just released a breathtaking new video. Shot on the beaches of Portugal and Saint-Tropez, it’s already generating strong online buzz. Whitney has also two singles, ‘Grow‘ and ‘How Was I Supposed To Know‘ out now, she’s working on a new collaboration with Sunfreakz and is putting finishing touches on a duets album with the Ibang approved artist Blak Emoji. Summer never sounded – or looked – this good.
"It’s our deep pleasure to premiere the new single "Good At Being Bad," a collaboration with respected producer Spencer Garn which blurs the line between soul, pop/electro, trip hop and beyond for a thrilling escape into reflection. The song has a laid back and almost jazzy feel with great dynamics that fans of Solange will likely respond to, as well as a sort of earthy and open quality that people who loved Gaga's new brilliant album Joanne will perk up for." - Spacelab
"As a singer, songwriter, entertainer and designer from the Big Apple, there's a lot of depth and earnestness that's expressed in her songs. We're premiering the audio for one of songs from that EP in "Falling." The song accentuates the budding singer's promise and strong signs of what should be a bright for future for Tai." - Pure Volume
